Purchase or rent a water cooler?
The question whether to purchase or rent a water cooler can be answered when you look at the available options. If you go with a bottled water cooler, it may be economical to rent one with a service agreement. Replacing the bottles and ensuring no mess at all times, make renting a better option if you don’t have the time to do so yourself. If however, you look at a fountain water cooler which plugs into the existing water supply and drain system it will not be necessary to refill the bottles. There will be a constant supply of water and as such it makes more sense to purchase a fountain water cooler. There will be instances where the water cooler cannot be plugged into the water supply and drain system and if you then have to get a bottled water cooler, it will be best to select either the Scotsman or the ELKAY models which have minimum maintenance and will last for years to come.
