Yes you heard right!

After last years great response we’ve decided to conduct more ice machine training this year! The details are still being thrashed out but we should have all the details finalized soon. At the moment we are looking at a date somewhere in August and we are still deciding on how many days the training will be held for.

In todays fast paced world technology changes all the time, and the refrigeration industry is no exception. It is the new ideas and new product innovations that have kept Scotsman ice machines leagues ahead of the competition for years now, and it is this innovation that brings about the need for ice machine technical training.

We spend hours with new machines and constant contact with our suppliers in Italy to learn all there is to know about the Scotsman ice machine, and our ice machine training is the perfect place for you to learn how to repair and service the scotsman ice machine.

The training will be facilitated by Ice Systems‘ technical director Mr. Henry Gomes, a stalwart in the refrigeration industry with many years experience with the Scotsman ice machine specifically. Any one who has attended one of Mr. Gomes’ training seminars will tell you it is well worth it.

The Scotsman ice makers’ warranties of 12 months only apply if the correct installation and maintenance operation procedures are followed. Please note that normal servicing of the Scotsman ice makers does not fall under the warranties. The cost is for the client’s account. Negligence and malicious use of the Scotsman ice makers will cause the warranty to be null and void. Dirty machines tend to operate poorly. It is thus recommended that you follow the instructions on how to clean the Scotsman ice makers and to contact one of our technicians for advice if something is unclear. Our technicians can also perform cleaning of the machines. By investing in a water filter on incoming water to the machine the scale build-up will be reduced and the machine will operate better. Prolong the life of Scotsman ice makers by servicing them at the required intervals.
