Super flake ice making machines in the Scotsman range includes four models which produce between 320 and 2300 kg a day. The super flake ice is made through a process where the ice is squeezed ensuring the flaky form after also being pressed ensuring that an exceptionally low water level is left in the flakes. This leaves the ice dry and prolongs the time taken to melt. The super flake ice machines of Scotsman have unique characteristics obtained from combining the attributes of granular ice and lower humidity ice ensuring slow melting.

The Scotsman super flake ice making machines in the MR model range come with various advanced features including safety alarms, infrared optical sensor equipment and electronic control monitoring to ensure correct functioning of the components. The machines are economical and with their control systems in place, cost of maintenance is kept at a minimum.
